Located behind Jiffy Lube on Highway One, the all-volunteer Thrift Shop is the foundational ministry for the
Association of Churches.
You can get involved! New Life Thrift is a place to donate clothes, time, and
talent, or simply to purchase bargain-priced goods. Volunteering at New Life is
hands on work with meaning. Dutch and his team of volunteers provide over 90% of
the funding which makes all our shared ministries possible! In the 2003-2004
ministry year Thrift Shop revenues exceeded $310,000. Every dollar was dedicated
to ministry on behalf of others in need.
Donations
of goods are usually welcome, although specific hours for donations vary
depending on inventory and season. Pickup of larger items and lots is also
available. Even unusual items--boats, cars, and other treasures--have been
donated to the Thrift Shop and helped to further the Association ministries.
Volunteers
are always needed for the New Life Thrift
Shop and for other
