Becoming a Member Church

Membership is open to all churches in the Lewes-Rehoboth area affirming the theological basis of the World Council of Churches: “a fellowship of churches which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Savior according to the scriptures and therefore seek to fulfill together their common calling to the glory of the one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”

Churches may join by making application in writing through the governing board of the church to the President of the Association.

Responsibilities

Each member church shall be represented by three delegates, namely, a pastor and two lay delegates appointed by the governing board of the member church.

The governing body of each member church determines the amount of any contributions made to support the administrative operation of the Association.

LRAC Meetings: Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., with location rotating among the member churches. A quorum is constituted when 60% of the member churches are represented.
