The Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches

Ut unum sint. Christ's will and prayer are that his disciples should be one. Unity is of essence in the Church, and our Association is a visible form of that unity. Organized in 1983, we work together in Christian ministry to benefit the residents and visitors of our communities, making Christ known and loved.

Highlights from our Timeline include:

•  Association planning begun in 1982
•  First meeting April 18, 1983
•  Eleven Churches participating
•  By-laws adopted Nov. ’83
•  Evening services begin 1985
•  Logo by Jack Bateman 1985
•  First joint Easter Sunrise service 1986
•  State Park services also begin 1986
•  Lend-a-Hand guidelines adopted 1991
•  New Life Thrift Shop Committee formed March 1994
